Five bedroomed beach villa on the Island of Elba

Beautiful villa on two floors, just a few steps from the beach, set close to the beach of Spartaia on the northern shore of the island of Elba. Elba is a picturesque island which sits between the Tuscan coastline and the island of Corsica The villa commands a fantastic sea view and dates from the 1960s. The original character has been perfectly preserved externally, with the interior ready to re-model and modernise.

The ground floor has two independent entrances. On one side there are three bedrooms - one is a double, one is a little smaller and the other is a single bedroom, with two bathrooms; from the other entrance there is one bedroom and a bathroom. Also on this floor is are technical/ storage rooms.

On the first floor there is a spacious living area with fireplace and a terrace with sea view, kitchen, light and bright dining room which is surrounded by windows, a large double bedroom and a bathroom.

The land is large, around 2000 sqm, with around 1000 sqm as garden and an additional area of woodland, also around 1000 sqm. From the ground floor the garden is well landscaped; from the first floor the garden is nicely terraced and there is a large pergola.

There is private parking for two cars and a private road which reaches to the sea. This is of particular value as this enchanting cove is especially popular, so parking is precious.

It is an easy walk to the resort of Procchio from the villa.

Procchio is a beach resort in the centre of the northern coast which is situated on a beautiful gulf, with some of the most beautiful beaches in Elba - Procchio, Spartaia, Paolina and Guardiola. The sea is crystal clear and the fine white sand ensures that these beaches, together with Pomonte, these beaches are considered amongst the very best in Italy. They are well looked after and served with bars, pizzerie and restaurants, as well as offering a range of watersports. The town of Procchio, whilst not large, boasts a covered square, where live music is often played in the evenings and a well-equipped park serves as a place for numerous summer parties. There are many hotels, villas and apartments scattered over a vast area of ​​breathtaking countryside.

Elba is only 10 kms from the Tuscan coast. The ferry crossing from Piombino to Portoferraio takes around an hour. It is also possible to take boat trips and ferries to the islands of Corsica and Sardinia. There is an airport on Elba with flights from Pisa, Florence, Milan (Linate) and Lugano. There are also direct flights from Bern and Zurich.
