Chianni is also located just 5 km from Casciana Terme, a historic spa town where it is still possible to bathe in the thermal springs today.

Meandering through the countryside of Valdera you feel the vestiges of the mysterious Etruscan civilization. Here Andrea Boccelli, the famous tenor, was born and it is in the heart of Valdera, in Lajatico, that he created the famous Teatro del Silenzio (the Theatre of Silence). The landscape creates a natural amphitheatre which forms a breathtaking setting and in the summer months some of the most prestigious international talent in the musical world gather for a special performance.
