This is a really nice and practical house in the centre of L'Isle Jourdain in the Vienne, Nouvelle Aquitaine. It is on a small one-way street which leads down to the Vienne river, if you walk up you are in the town centre which has shops, supermarkets, restaurants etc. (always good to be downhill walking home). At the back of the house is the garden and to the left of the garden is a piece of land which leads to a back lane, so you could quite easily put a gate there and park in the back garden.

Close to all local amenities, shops, supermarkets, restaurants etc and also on the doorstep of a wealth of walks and river based sports activities. Poitiers airport and train station are about one hour away; Limoges airport is just over one hour's drive.

The nearest train station is Lussac Les Chateaux (22kms) with links to Poitiers and Limoges; which have airports with regular flights to several destinations in the UK. Poitiers train station also has cross platform TGV connections to Paris, Bordeaux and other French cities plus Brussels and London (via Lille).

The street the house is in, is typically French and the village is very pretty with a disused viaduct over the river, which has a beautiful walk from there through to Lussac Les Chateaux taking in all the riverside villages on the way.
