Perched high on the steep hills near the Pollino National park, Santa Domenica Talao is home to just over 1600 people. The town’s main street is littered with local shops, bars and two trattoria’s. There is a bus service to the neach resort at Scalea from the main piazza in town.
We have a stone brick ruin to renovate just off the main street and central to all the town’s services. Climbing down a few steps the property’s main entry is on the first floor of this historical building. The roof and basement require structural work. The rest of the property is sound structurally. Plumbing and electricity will be a major part of the restoration. All doors and windows will need to be replaced. There is a balcony which gives sea views and the possibility of a roof terrace and panoramic views of the sea and mountains. We have included a project to give you some idea of what could be created.
