At 5 minutes from Atri, one of the most beautiful and old cities in Abruzzo, on a lovely hill with great exposition and with amazing view towards the Adriatic Sea and towards the Majella and Gran Sasso d'Abruzzo mountains, we have around 6 hectars of vineyard Trebbiano and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Teramo's hills guaranteed by the DOC and DOCG certificates. (DOC and DOCG wines are protected by a particular legislation that defend its quality and identity connecting them to the historic land of production, where for centuries the grapes are worked with the same methods and the same varieties).
Other than the vineyard, other 2 hectars of land with olive trees and woods and two cottage houses with annexed storehouse, wood oven and two wells of spring water.
A first house of around 240 sq.m. is in good conservation state with the necessity of internal maintenance. It is on two levels conected by an external staircase. On the ground floor we have a kitchen, a small bathroom, a warehouse and an open-space; on the first floor a beautiful panoramic terrace,a corridor, a kitchen with fireplace, a livingroom, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The second cottage, this too on two levels, is very old and all in bricks and is to renovate completely, as the storehouse.
The property is ideal to live in complete relax in the countryside, to realize some dwellings for touristic purposes and/or to produce excellent Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine.
Atri is a ducal city rich in history and culture, where it is possible to do an immersive journey across time, through archeologic testimonies, wonderful churches, magnific monuments and noble buildings, the Ducal palace, theatre, roman tank and other findings of the glorious pre-roman city.
Other than for the artistic beauties, Atri is famous also for enogastronomic products of excellence like pecorino cheese, licorice, honey, the dessert “Panducale”, prized extra virgin olive oil and great Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine, numerous events during the year allow to taste the products even on the streets with music and dances.
