This beautiful property is sat in a really lovely location. It land all around with great views over the countryside. It has a very calming ambience as you are surrounded by countryside where the only things that will disturb your silence is nature going about it's business.
The property itself is perfectly habitable and needs no work doing to it to be able to move in, although it would benefit a slight face lift but its not a necessity.
There is plenty of off road parking to either side of the property. Parking at the top side, we have a door leading directly into the main entrance hall. To the right is the living and dining room which is triple aspect and drowning in natural light. Here there is an open fireplace.
To the left is the kitchen, which is double aspect. It has plenty of units so lots of storage space and worktops as well.
Further along the hall is where all the bedrooms and the family bathroom is. First we have the bathroom to the right which comes off of a nice 'snug' area. Off of the snug are two doors, one leads to the loft. The loft is a marvelous space and is screaming to be made into a master suite. It has excellent head hight and with the help of some sky lights could really be a special space.
Now back donwstairs, the corridor continues on with two bedroom off to the right and one to the left. All of them are good sizes and have large windows.
Underneath the house, there are three rooms. This is where the rest of the house's potencial comes in. These rooms could all be linked internally and with direct access out onto the garden, could be turned and nice rental property. They would have their own driveway, seating area and would be entirely independent.
The property's land is spectacular. It's set over slight terraces with a vast range of fruit trees. There is also a bore hole so plenty of water for irrigation. The bore hole is also plumbed into the house so if you didn't want to use mains water, you could switch on the bore hole.
The manor house is situated in the small village of Frazoeira in central Portugal. Frazoeira has several cafes and a small mini-market as well as a pharmacy. The larger town of Ferreira do Zêzere, which is around five to 10 minutes drive away has supermarkets, shops, banks, health centre, school, pharmacies, restaurants, library and bus station.
Castelo do Bode lake, which is popular for all kinds of water sport activities is just a short drive form the manor house and the historic village of Dornes, where it is possible to hire canoes and kayaks is also just a short drive away.
The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is around 25 minutes drive from the property. Tomar is a popular and bustling town with a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars, historic monuments, schools, university, bus and train station and hospital.
The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is around one and three quarter hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
