Full Description

A partially completed detached house on Hvar requiring investment with a garden and parking to the front. The building of the house was started some years ago and has a building permit to complete the project. Once finished the house could have 3/4 bedrooms with several bathrooms while on the ground floor there is space for a generous living room as well as a kitchen breakfast room and an additional room. Situated on the North side of the Island of Hvar and set within pine woods, the house is only a few minutes walk from several swimming areas and about 5 minutes from a sweet little traditional harbour.

Balustrade Estates offers a Project Management service to help clients with rebuilding/refurbishing their properties. You may have purchased the property through us or acquired it elsewhere, either way, we can act as a liaison, from planning to building. We will coordinate and communicate with the workforce on the ground and you the investor. Our fees are calculated on the size of the project and its location. If you are interested in this service, please feel free to contact us.

Approximately 4 kilometres away is the town of Vrboska which was founded in the 15th century as a small fishing harbour, these days Vrboska is best known for the fortress Church of Sv. Marija (St Mary), built as a refuge for its inhabitants during the 16th century. Vrboska is a thieving seaside town and benefits from an all year round yacht marina, a beautiful shingle beach and also a naturist campsite (enclosed and private). Locally known as Little Venice due to its several pretty stone bridges across its long inlet, the town has a good selection of cafe bars as well as a handful of restaurants with some great menus. The local beach known as Solin is an excellent pebble beach with pine trees down to the waterfront providing unusual natural shade.
Only a few kilometres in the other direction is the Ferry port at Stari Grad, operated by Jadrolinija. There are a number of crossings to Split daily, and in summer, the services are extensive. Alternatively, a newcomer to the Island of Hvar and to getting from A to B is European Coastal Airlines who run a 13-minute flight from Split airport to Jelsa harbour.

This detached house on Hvar requiring investment could just be the one that you are looking for so contact us for some ideas on how this could be your Mediterranean dream!
