The apartment is situated on the second floor of a house in the quiet but central street of Proença-a-Nova, with the post office and a shop in the ground floor.
The front door of the apartment opens to a spacious wide u-shaped corridor, with doors to all the rooms. Turning left, it leads to the fully tiled family bathroom with bathtub, toile, bidet and pedestal sink. The room to the right is a bedroom, next is an l-shaped larger bedroom. Opposite the doors to these two bedrooms we have a large wardrobe from ceiling to floor. Walking out of the second bedroom and turning to the left, the hall turns a corner and to the right we have an equipped kitchen with wooden base and wall elements and a granite work surface. The kitchen has a door to a large veranda with views to the street below. The veranda has enough space for a table and chairs to enjoy and relax.
At the next corner of the corridor we have a large living room with open fireplace and an air-con unit for heating and cooling. The living room has a double door to the veranda. Next is a third bedroom with a window to the rear of the house.
At the end of the corridor we have a second fully tiled bathroom with shower basin, toilet, bidet and pedestal sink. Opposite the third bedroom door we have another storage wardrobe, a third the size of the other one next to the family bathroom.
The floors in the u-shaped hall, in the bathrooms and in the kitchen as well as on the veranda are tiled in a light color, while the floors in the bedrooms and in the living room have varnished cork tiles for enhanced living comfort. The windows and the veranda doors are single glazed aluminum framed. The front entrance door is of massive wood.
There is also a storage room in the attic of the house, measuring approximately 12 square meters.
The apartment is in good state of repair and well looked after, although it would benefit from a new coat of paint.
There is plenty of parking just outside the building. Although the apartment is conveniently located in the business center of Proença-a-Nova, it´s in a quiet spot. Proença-a-Nova is a tranquil yet lively town in the center of Portugal, with all amenities, including council offices, health center, private clinics, a good number of shops and an Intermarché, reaturants and cafés, service stations, car workshops, a direct bus to Lisbon. The surrounding nature invites you to explore the nature, the woods and hill side towns and river beaches.
Proença-a-Nova is located just a little over two hours´ drive from Lisbon and also from Porto. The district capital Castelo Branco is only 50 km away, all these cities are easily accessed via modern highways.
