Here in the village of Gagnières there is an international population...French, English, Swiss, Belgian and Dutch, just to begin! You are right in the foothills of the beautiful Cévennes, a Unesco natural park. 45 minutes away, near Villefort (water sports centre) you can overland ski in winter. In the opposite direction you are not far from Barjac (Renaissance village with very popular market) and Les Vans, a medieval town with excellent restaurants and weekly market. Uzès and Nimes are also within easy reach...Uzès an hour, Nimes an hour and a half.
