This lovely property has been fully restored and has a great homely feeling. This house has been modernized and bring back to life but also still has some original features which is also nice to see.
The property's garden is mainly flat and has every type of fruit tree you could imagine. There is plenty of off road parking and then there is also an old barn that has been restored as well. This space is perfect for storing all of the gardening tools, summer furniture, etc. The barn also has a large workshop.

The property is five minutes drive away from the village of Dornes which has a lakeside beach. The lake is formed by the Castelo do Bode barragem which is Portugal's second largest reservoir. Castelo do Bode lake is popular for all kinds of water sport activities including water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, swimming, sailing, scuba diving and fishing.
The property is situated close to the popular market town of Cabaços, which has a weekly market, cafes, restaurants, bank, pharmacy, post office, mini-markets and a small supermarket. The larger town of Ferreira do Zêzere, which also has a weekly market, supermarkets, post office, medical centre, schools, an indoor swimming pool and library, is also just a short drive away.
The historic town of Tomar is less half an hour away. Tomar, home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, has a variety of supermarkets, large weekly market, hospital, university, schools, sports centres and bus and train station.
The nearest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is approximately one hour and a half hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of international airlines including some low cost ones, who provide regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries. The international airport of Porto is two and a half hours away.
