The town of Caldas da Rainha is ten minutes away. Caldas is a thriving town with a busy town centre. In Caldas you will find a wide variety of cafes, shops, restaurants as well as all the usual amenities such as banks, pharmacies, doctors, offices etc. There is also a cultural centre that holds regular entertainment events, a beautiful centre park area and a variety of hotels. Every day there is a fresh fruit and vegetable market and on Monday's there is a general market where you can buy everything for the home and garden.
