Limoges airport is about 45 minutes away with regular flights to Stansted, East Midlands and Bristol. The region is mainly agricultural and forestry interlaced with quiet roads and chemins rurals, ideal for riding or cycling. There are two good golf courses within 30km, at Mortemart and Saint Junien, as well as two more in Limoges, a regional centre renowned for its porcelain.
