This extremely spacious property has great curb as it stands proudly at the front of its plot. The property is set over three floors and still has a loft space that could be converted although it probably wouldn't be needed given the amount of space the house has.
To the front of the property there are two entrances, one into an entrance hall and the other into the garage. Entering via the garage we have a door leading to one of the kitchens. This kitchen needs completely remodeling as most of the cupboards are not in a fit state to be used. It is a good size though and it has a pantry as well.

The closest village is situated at Serra, which has several cafes, restaurants and a small mini-market. There is a weekly market on Sundays. Serra is around a ten minutes' drive from the property. The larger town of Tomar, which has supermarkets, shops, builders merchants, cafes, restaurants, health centres, schools, a weekly market, swimming pools and historic Convento do Cristo and Castle constructed by the Knight Templars in the 12th century is around 20 minutes away.
Castelo do Bode lake, Portugal's second largest reservoir is only a short walk from the property. This lake is popular for all kinds of water sport activities including swimming, sailing, canoeing, scuba diving, wind surfing and water skiing. The lake is also a haven for wildlife and there are many river beaches close to the property, ideal for relaxing sunny days at the water's edge.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a half hours' drive from the cottage, though it is possible to utilize either train or bus for this journey. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
