The setting of the pool is superb, a short distance from the house. The pool is a salt-water swimming pool, it measures 12m x 6m with a deep-end (3 metres with a diving board) and roman steps. The terrace around the pool is tiled. It is surrounded by trees providing shade, and is a great place for bird watching and listening to the sounds of nature around. The pool has an alarm to conform with French law.

The Grounds
They are extensive. There is the garden to the rear of the house overlooking the lake, and this is a lawned garden enclosed by a balustrade with some delightful old iron gates. The ground to the front of the house are very large, populated by various fruit trees (quince, plum, pear, cherry, fig), oaks and plane trees. There is also an old well with the original pump wheel.
