There are two entrance doors to the house, one from the front of the house, the other from the garden terrace, both leading directly into the open space kitchen/dining room and kitchen space.
We have a fully equipped kitchen with integrated light bar above the drawers, separate fridge and freezer, dish washer, high quality Siemens multi-functional oven, four burner gas stove with high quality extraction hub with integrated lighting above. We have an air-con unit in the living room for cooling and heating purpose as well as a corner appeal log burner with hot air distribution system into the bathroom and the bedrooms.
From the kitchen we have an open hall. On the right, is a pantry with sliding doors, also with a fridge in place. On the premises, we have a wooden guest house consisting of a living room with fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with toilet, hand wash basin with cupboard underneath and shower cubicle, and a bedroom. The guest house has double glazed windows and a sliding door, all with insect screens. Also sun shades. There is an air con unit for heating and cooling installed. All the furniture and appliances will be staying in the guest house. To the front of it, there is a covered terrace with wonderful views to the natural swimming pool landscape. To enjoy the pool, we have a large gazebo, inviting to relax at any time of the day.
To the left of the entrance drive into the property, we have a plot with a variety of mature fruit trees and a chicken pen, where good sized vegetable garden could be created.
There are wonderful views into the surrounding countryside from the one of the bedrooms, from the living room, from the terrace of the guest house and from the pool area. Especially the sunsets are worth mentioning.
The property has a solar system for domestic hot water, which also serves the guest house. The house has excellent sun exposure, but with the good insulation, it says cool inside even on the hot days.
The furniture and all the equipment which is in this property can be negotiated.

The property is only a five minute drive from the shores of the Castelo do Bode dam, where you can hang out all by yourself and go for a swim, or launch your boar, go fishing or have a pic nic. Castelo do Bode lake is popular for all kinds of water sport activities including swimming, sailing, canoeing, scuba diving, wind surfing and water skiing, and also supplies the drinking water to Lisbon and other towns.
We are a four minute drive from the center of the village of Serra. It´s 13 km, or a 15 minute drive from the center of Tomar. There is a public bus stop right in front of the property, the bus going to Tomar.
Tomar is a bustling market town, which has a good variety of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, banks, shops, pharmacies, health centers, sports centers, library, university, hospital, bus and train station, historic monuments and parks.
The nearest beach on the Atlantic ocean is an hour´s drive away.
The nearest airport is in Lisbon and it only takes one hour to drive there.
