Full Description

This rustic and eco friendly finca is located at a beautiful spot, in the hills above Estación de Cártama. It is an approx. 15 minutes drive, of which the last part is over an unpaved road, that leads you up the private track. The views are stunning, there are no close neighbours just piece, privacy and nature. This is a perfect place for outdoor lovers, to relax and observe wildlife or just listen to the breeze that blows through the hills.

A secluded plot of 37.000 m2 (!) encircles the finca, with hills to the North and valleys to the South. It is the ideal place to keep animals. The finca benefits from beautiful streams in the winter and an abundance of native flora including almond trees, oleanders, carobs, wild asparagus, stunning wild flowers, aloe vera and prickly pears which are beginning to rejuvenate after the recent regional blight.

This sympathetically modernised finca consists of 4 bedrooms, a lounge room, a kitchen, a family bathroom, a second bathroom/utility room, plus plenty of shaded outside space to enjoy! There is a 32 m2 covered front terrace, a 16 m2 open rear terrace, a large gravelled front terrace and a lower garden terrace. The views from the different terraces are amazing! From the front terrace - Cartama Hermitage and the ruins of the ancient castle, then further along to Benalmadena end the mountains and Málaga City from the hills above the house.

The perfect place to enjoy a private outdoor life, and watch the world go by.

Cártama is situated at the heart of the Guadalhorce valley, at the front of two small sierras and surrounded by thousands of citrus trees. It is one of the most extensive towns in the province and being close (17 km.) to the city of Málaga, the airport and the coast, it is a popular location! The village is divided into different communities: Cártama Pueblo, the ancient town, and Estación de Cártama, which is home to the railway station. The A-357 crosses in the middle. Both places have a vibrant centre, with lots of shops, bars and restaurants! Estación de Cártama not only links the village to the lively city centre of Málaga within 15 minutes, it is also a more and more upcoming leisure area. Cártama is famous for its festivals and ferias, of which they have tons during the year and where locals mix with other nationalities to party. The beautiful surroundings of Cártama are perfect to enjoy many outdoor activities and the views of Monte de la Virgen are stunning! Beaches, famous costal places and a big golf course are just a short drive away, Cártama offers something good for everyone.
