Bedroom 1. Tierra is the first of the double rooms. Located on the ground floor with an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Tierra has a patio area that faces the swimming pool offering lovely views of the garden.

Bedroom 2. Sol is located on the ground floor with a rustic fireplace and its own terrace. The bedroom offers a lovely view of the garden and the valley.

Bedroom 3. The Luna Room has a Moorish feel. With a large outdoor patio with a large Andalucían style table and seating area.

Bedroom 4. Aqua is a cool water themed room. It is located on the first floor and offers stunning views of the valley. With an indoor seating area. It has a large patio complete as well as front terrace.

Bedroom 5. Rio is the largest room and is ideal for families. This room is detached double room on the ground floor with a sofa bed which can accommodate a further 2 guests. The room also benefits from a has a living area. Outside is a large patio area with sun loungers and seating. The room also has direct access to a private rooftop with stunning views of the valley.

Bedroom 6. Estrella is located on the first floor. There are two outdoor areas; a terrace and a balcony. This room could also be a family as there is room for a child's bed.

The guests also have used of the winter breakfast room, a charming room with loads of original features with access to the guest library. The kitchen is accessed from the dining room. The current owners provide a breakfast services with extras to include a tapas menu and an evening meal one night per week. An honesty bar is also available for guests and a lunch menu.

The Owner Accommodation at this property is particularly good which can be rare. The apartment sits on the top floor of the main house with open plan kitchen, dining & lounge. ALHAURÍN EL GRANDE
Alhaurín el Grande is one of the biggest and most vibrant towns in the area, with a privileged location on the skirts of the mountain Sierra de Mijas, overlooking the Guadalhorce valley. The village is close to the city of Málaga and just a short drive from the coastal areas of La Cala de Mijas and Fuengirola.

The Arabs named it Jardín de Alá, translated as Ala’s Garden. Later, the Catholic Kings added El Grande (the big one) to distinguish it from its sister town Alhaurín de la Torre. Currently its economy is focused on trade and agriculture, which was the main economic engine of the region 1000 years ago when oil, wheat and figs were already produced and delivered to Málaga city and port. Its inhabitants are known as alhaurinos but there is also a large presence of foreigners settled in the town.

Besides the historic buildings, fincas and townhouses, there are also many modern apartments and a large golf complex located in Alhaurín el Grande. There is a big variety of restaurants, bars and shops were locals mix with other nationalities. The main plaza is always busy and vibrant. Besides that, it offers a superb view of the valley. The village offers the best of both worlds: coast and inland!

The village of Alhaurín el Grande is located just 25 minutes (22 km.) from the city of Málaga and the airport. The beaches of the Costa del Sol (Fuengirola/Mijas) are only a 15 minute (18 km.) drive away.
