The main town of Torres Vedras is 20 minutes away. Torres Vedras is a large town where there are cafes, restaurants, entertainment venues, pharmacies, banks, doctors, a large and well respected hospital, park areas, sports stadium and everything else you need from a large town.

There are several beaches directly accessible to enjoy, the main ones being Praia de Santa Cruz; Praia das Amoeiras; Praia da Fisica. There are also public swimming baths along the coast including ones at Praia do Guincho; Praia Formosa; Praia do Central.

Lisbon and the airport are less than an hour away and there are also good bus and train transportation links.
