The municipal swimming pool and children’s pool are open during the summer months and there is also a children’s playground and adults exercise area. The bar which offers alcoholic drinks, beverages & tapas is open every day and is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery. A new bar has also just opened in the village next to the town hall.

The main town of Albox is just a 20 minute drive from Cobdar, with the beach reachable within 40 minutes. Almeria airport is approximately 1 hours´ drive away.
