Cartagena, a wealth of history and beautiful architecture sits on the Costa Calida in south east Spain within the Murcia region. The port and marina area is well worth a visit with its many bars and restaurants and it is only a short walk to the pedestrian main street with further many shops, bars and restaurants. Among the Art Nouveau buildings there are several famous landmarks such as the Roman Theatre.
