Sitio Boavista is a charming area which benefits a mixture of local population and foreigners. The house is in walking distance to Quelfes village with its monthly market, some small supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants. There is easy access by tarmac road. The house is elevated overlooking terraced gardens. There are upper and lower gardens to enjoy rural views. Numerous citrus trees, alfarroba, fig, olive, nespera and some vines grow. The garden displays lavender, rosemary and a variety of Mediterranean flowering plants and shrubs.

The land has a drilled bore hole but is on mains water and is fenced. There is a sense of privacy and the property has friendly neighbors. There are several options for placing a pool. Consent has been obtained by the local council for a pool of 5 x 10 meters.

Quelfes is apx. halfway between the small town of Moncarapacho and the fishing port of Olhao which is a very popular, historic city with marina. It houses the Algarve's largest fish market and there are daily ferries to the nearby islands of Culatra and Armona.
