There are two different entries to the property. One that takes you into the kitchen or one that takes you into the living room. The living is open space with the dining room. The living room is of a good size and has some lovely wooden features. The stairs that take you up to the other level can be located in this division. There is also a bathroom that comes off of the living room.
The kitchen is of a good size too and at the moment has a dining table which when removed will give the room a more spacious.
Heading upstairs, we end up in a hallway which gives access to three bedrooms. They are all spacious and have wood cladded ceilings. They all also have large windows. When you come up the stairs, to the back of you, you will find another bathroom to serve the three bedrooms.
The property has a mature garden and has a fertile vegetable garden and a diverse range of trees. There is a nice porch area to the back of the
house which would be perfect to make into a barbecue area for the summer. In the garden there is also a small shed which can be used as storage. The entrance to the house is gated and the land is all walled.
The property is situated in the village of Chãos in central Portugal. Chaos has a cafe bars, a doctor, and a weekly vegetable market.
The town of Ferreira do Zêzere, which is the district capital, is around 17 kilometres from the property. Ferreira do Zêzere has several supermarkets, banks, schools, bus station, shops, builders' merchants, restaurants and bars. The larger, historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO world heritage listed Convento do Cristo, is approximately 15-20 minutes' drive from Chãos.
Tomar is a popular town and has all modern day amenities including supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, library, schools, university, cinema, bowling alley, weekly market and a hospital.
The property is easy to locate and has good access links to the IC3 Tomar to Coimbra road. The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours' by car.
