Teba village: the nearest village, Teba, is approximately 3 Kms from this property. Teba has a population of 4000, it is a typical Spanish mountain village. All the usual facilities are available in the village – 3 banks, post office, full range of local shops and a supermarket, plus Medical Centre and Dentist etc. Teba’s most popular fiestas are The Cheese Festival which is the 1st weekend in October and attracts about 7000 visitors, and ‘The Douglas Days’ which is the 1st weekend in August, when the village celebrates it’s connection with Robert The Bruce! The village itself is about 550 mtrs above sea level, but Casa La Camorra is located at the bottom of the village, and only a 2 minute walk from the entrance to The Teba Gorge.
