Hvar has an excellent catamaran service during the summer months with a handful of catamarans to and from Split and even a daily service running to Dubrovnik. Croatia’s main ferry line Jadrolinija also run a good service out of season. A newcomer to the getting from A to B is European Coastal Airlines which run a 13 minute flight from Split to Jelsa and then a transfer to Hvar.
