This beautiful, detached country house is located in very natural countryside to the North of Riogordo village, with lovely walking country all around and very quiet and peaceful. There are other country houses around, and it is not isolated.

There is a large car park at the edge of the plot and a path leads from here, towards the house, passing by the immaculate 8 x 4m swimming pool. The garden area has not been developed and is in a very natural and beautiful state, but it would be easily possible to create pretty garden areas, taking advantage of the many trees, including olive, local oaks, almonds and figs. A small stream passes through the side of the plot (at certain times of year) and a little footbridge over the stream makes a very pretty garden feature.

The house has a terrace area to the front with pergola beams and interesting exposed stone features in the white, rough-rendered facade wall. The front door from here leads into a large living room, with a centrally located wood burner (at the moment an old one is in place, but this could be replaced with a beautiful central fireplace or wood burner with glass on four sides,) beams and interesting alcoves inset into thick, rustic walls. To the right is the open plan dining room and from here an archway from the rear right leads into the fitted kitchen, with a door to the rear patio and a ‘hatch’ between the kitchen and the dining room.

From the dining room, stairs lead up to bedroom 1, with a bathroom and access to the central roof terrace with lovely views.

To the left is the living room and beyond is access to bedroom 2, on the ground floor and the bathroom, and a second staircase leads up to bedroom three, also with access to the upstairs central roof terrace.

This is a most unusual country house, set in olive countryside, within 10 minutes of the village of Riogordo.
