Location
The house is located at the small town of Forcoli, in a quiet street lined with villas and trees. It is possible to walk to the central square with its bars, pastry and ice cream shops. In Forcoli there are all the services: supermarket, shops, restaurants, pharmacy, boutique, bank, post office etc.
Going up the hill, 10 minutes driving, you reach the medieval village of Palaia, famous for truffles and the pittoresque medieval festival in late summer; it is one of the most visited places by tourists of all nationalities.
Also Pondera, a major town in the Val d'Era, is only 10 km. away. In Pontedera there is one of the main train stations on the Pisa-Florence line and also the access to the highway Firenze-Pisa-Livorno.
The beaches of Marina di Pisa and Tirrenia are only at 15-20 minutes driving: during the summer there are festivals, fairs, concerts as the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago.
