Description of the buildings

The Chateau offers around 440m2 of living space on the ground and first floor, as well as about 90m2 of convertible space in the towers of the second floor.
Ground floor:  Entrance hall 43m2 with mosaic floor and a beautiful carved wood stair case with a handrail in cherry wood, to the left a 57m2 lounge with marble columns and Doric Capitals and a marble fireplace, to the right a 57m2 lounge and dining area with Ionic columns capitals and a fireplace, ceiling 'à la française?, behind is a corridor on both sides leading to all the following rooms such as  WC, study 12m2, service staircase, to the basement with the heating room, laundry 11m2, pantry 7m2, kitchen 23m2 with outside access and a connecting door to the formal dining area.
1st floor: landing, to the left, bedroom with fireplace 30m2, bedroom 25m2, bathroom 10m2 with WC, shower room 6m2, en-suite bedroom 22m2 in 17th Century dovecote with bathroom 11m2 and WC, from the landing to the right, bedroom 17m2 with dressing room, bathroom 10m2, bedroom 24m2, bedroom 30m2, bedroom above the entrance 17m2 with balcony overlooking the formal garden and country side. All floors are in pine wood.
2nd floor: in the North tower 2 rooms of 24m2 and 22m2, in the South tower are equally 2 rooms of 24m2 and 22m2, with a total of 90m2. Those rooms are not used other than for storage and could be easily converted into en-suite bedrooms.

General condition
The buildings are generally in sound condition. The roof of the Chateau has been renewed about 25 years ago. The interior has been renovated about 30 years ago and needs updating in terms of kitchen, sanitary installation as well as partly the electricity and decoration. The party room has been recently converted and is just for private use. There is a fuel central heating in the Chateau and a gas heating in the care taker?s apartment. Water is provided by 2 boreholes, the 2 septic tanks which need updating respective replacing.
