From the entrance gate, a long cobblestone driveway, framed with bushes and trees, leads to a courtyard with a garage on one side and large terraces on the other that stretch along the whole of the front of the former farmhouse which was built in 1904. It has been refurbished, including a new kitchen, but many original features have been preserved to maintain the atmosphere of a typical Algarvean house.
