I know mine did, with roses around the door, a little waterfall or two and a small stream encircling the house with little footbridges and sparkling clear water.

Coming back to reality, what we have here is a 4 bedroom former mill with attached gardens, land and a small lake. Currently used as a home but previous owners split it in such a way that it could quite easily be run as a 2/3 bedroom B & B set in the most tranquil of hamlets, down a little side land; yet only 3 minutes from a Carrefour supermarket and a nice little village with a good doctors and amenities. The hamlet is in the Brenne National Park some 183,00 Ha of beautiful parkland, forests, wet lands and lakes with around 33,000 inhabitants. A very popular area for naturalists with a wealth of protected species of animals and birds, it is quite stunning.

Getting to the area is easy with flights from many UK airports into Limoges (1 hour 10 minutes) and Poitiers (1 hour 20 minutes) and trains at Argenton-sur-Creuse- 15 minutes having services to Paris, Lille, London & Brussels. You will even see the odd bus in the area, a rare site in rural France!

The current owners use the house for their private use and family visits, but the owners previous to themselves ran the place as a B & B and the bedrooms are set in such a way that you could do that from day one, without any changes.
