Introduction

The property seats in a very private spot in a countryside with fantastic views.This property has been rebuilt using good standards, it has a fully insulated roof, all the walls been dry lined and there are radiators everywhere. The entire house is spacious and has windows both sides north and south. The surrounding garden at the back has a metal entrance gate and a paved drive with parking area and a pergola at the end.
There are various annexes, making this property very versatile, currently 2 annexes are workshops, 1 is the machine room and other 2 to be renovated.

Layout
The property can be accessed from the secluded garden at the back via the gate and drive or through an alley way with a smaller gate which leads to the front garden and patio.
The house has a stable door from the kitchen to the south facing patio which can be used as an entrance and another door from the lounge which accesses the same patio which as a pergola with Kiwi fruits.

The very spacious lounge with a huge wood burner with back boiler has a dining room area and connects to the kitchen via a room which is the stone staircase landing area with another fire place and an arched passage to the kitchen. The kitchen double aspect and is fully equipped and spacious.

The wide stone staircase leads upstairs to the master bedroom on the right with ensuite and balcony, this ensuite has an hydromassage shower unit. The family bathroom it’s also very spacious, has a Jacuzzi bath tub and hydromassage shower enclosure, all the tiling have been done but the grouting hasn’t been finished.

The annexes are very big, 2 of them need roof repaired.

About the location

The house is surrounded by numerous natural hiking tracks with great scenery spots provided by the mountains and forest land in Central Portugal, from the balcony of both properties the views are of the edge of the mountain of Alvaiázere.
The property is located in the quiet hamlet of Vendas which is just outside the Market town of Alvaiázere.
This municipality town of Alvaiázere is 2.4km distance where you can find a registry office, notary services, banks, supermarkets, schools, public swimming pool parks, cafés en restaurants, etc.
Around this area there are typical villages, mills, panoramic views, roman ruins, monuments, river beaches etc.
The small castle city of Penela is about 30km distance.
The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, founded by the Templars is only 30 to 35 minutes drive from the property.
Figueira da Foz the beautiful coastal beach is easily accessed in approximately an hour by car via the IC8.
All major European high street shopping is available in city of Coimbra the 3rd biggest city in Portugal which is only 45 minutes drive on the A13 motorway.
Porto and Lisbon airports are at similar distance from the property, Porto is approximately 2 hours drive and Lisbon approximately 1.30 hours by car.
