An interesting open plan one bedroom apartment in Vrboska Hvar island, situated on the first floor within this detached building. The apartment is approached via a small pathway from the road to the building and then steps to the first floor. The accommodation is open plan with a large room which has a small kitchenette to one end  and a shower room with WC and wash basin.  At either end of the room is access to a balcony with views of the harbour through the trees. Within the large room is a gallery area which has a small window and a single bed.

The apartment is conveniently located only minutes from the waterfront in Vrboska town which is on the north coast of the island of Hvar, and was founded in the 15th century as a small fishing harbour. These days Vrboska is best known for the fortress Church of Sv. Marija (St Mary), built as a refuge for its inhabitants during the 16th century. Vrboska is a thieving seaside town and benefits from an all year round yacht marina, a fine shingle beach and also a naturist camp site (enclosed and private). Locally known as Little Venice due to its several pretty stone bridges across its long inlet, the town has a good selection of cafe bars as well as a handful of restaurants with some great menus. The local beach known as Solin is a fine pebble beach with pine trees down to the water front providing wonderful natural shade.

Vrboska is only a few kilometres away from the Ferry port at Stari Grad, operated by Jadrolinija. There are a number of crossings to Split daily and in summer, the services are extensive. Alternatively a new comer to the Island of Hvar and to getting from A to B is European Coastal Airlines who run a 13 minute flight from Split airport to Jelsa harbour.
