This property has been well looked after over the years so it is very well maintained. The roof is in a very good condition so this wood not need replacing, it simply needs insulating and there are no signs of damp throughout the property so all in all a good, solid house.

The property has three levels, the basement, middle floor where the main accommodation is and then the attic. There are separate entrances for each. The basement is just used for storage as since this is sub terrain, there are no windows. The attic could very easily be converted into more living accommodation as it is very high and you can stand in most of it. The garden is a good size and is all fenced. There are some outbuildings with a summer kitchen, so there is more storage space that isn’t the basement. The garden is lots of shaded parts and various different types of fruit trees.

The property sits in a lovely location, within a few minutes drive there is a small train station, offering great connections to all over the country. There are various cafés around as well as lovely scenery that is great for people who like to be in touch with nature.

The property is situated near the village of Sabacheira which has various cafés and a mini market. The larger town of Tomar is around 20 minutes away. Tomar is a bustling market town, which has a good variety of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, banks, shops, pharmacies, health centres, sports centres, library, university, hospital, bus and train station, historic monuments and parks.

The house is about 50 minutes from the Silver Coast beach resorts and 2 hours to the Serra da Estrela, Portugal's highest mountains and ski area.

The closest airport to the property is Lisbon, which is around one hour by car.
