History of the villa:
The house was built by Georges Leygues (Ministre de la Marine, President du Conseil....Premier Ministre... in etc.) in 1906 and remodeled in 1917. President Poincare spent the final months of his life there writing hiss memoires. Princess Marie Bonaparte (Princess Georges of Greece and Denmark) also stayed there on several occasions. Jacques Raphael-Leygues (French Ambassador to Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire..etc.) was a frequent visitor in the last forty years.
