Burke House's private tropical setting is
a romantic escape set in Moonhole, a pristine nature preserve on the
island of Bequia. The property is fully furnished and turnkey. It has
spectacular views both to the north and to the south including to the
north a panoramic view of the island of St Vincent and directly below - a
secluded bay known as Lower Bight which is Bequia's premier diving
location. To the south you see a dozen or more of the sister Grenadine
Islands.




Main House plus Wood and Meadow area

Burke
House and its adjacent guest cottage ( "fixer upper") are situated on
half an acre of wooded land which includes an open meadow. Its ridge top
position, airy design, large windows and doors allows the constant
tropical breeze to drift through the house year round.




Two Ensuite BedroomsThe
master bedroom has huge opening windows. Lie in a four poster bed, listen
to the waves and the birds and absorb the view of the turquoise blue
Caribbean Sea and islands. The guest bedroom likewise has large windows
with views of tropical fauna and Islands.




Open Plan Living & Dining AreaThe living and dining area opens to spacious decks north and south both with 180 degree sea views.
Both decks are furnished with hardwood, including chairs, tables and lounge chairs. Included are hammocks and a gas barbecue.




RenovationThe house
has been beautifully restored with local hardwood and stone and glass.
Restoration has included re wiring, new light fixtures, a solar hot
water system and WIFI.




Beach and Diving The white
sandy beach is a few minutes walk below the property - relish the clear
warm water. Excellent snorkeling and diving amongst the live coral and
tropical fish is to be had in minutes, both north and south of the
house.
