This beautiful property has been built to a very high standard and the finishings have been kept to a very high standard. The property has been decorated fantastically and has a very neutral but cozy feeling. There is lots of natural light that bounces off of the tall walls, filling the rooms with warmth.

Upon entering via the front door we enter an entrance hall which then has access to the open space living/dining room, a traditional toilet and the kitchen is further along. This living room is very light and spacious. There is a fireplace in the middle of the room although it is not needed as the house has underfloor hot water heating which runs throughout. To the end of the room is the dining room and the kitchen. This part has windows all around with a set of patio doors leading out onto the garden. This space, as you can imagine, has lots of natural light and would make for a great space in the colder winter night to have dinner with stars but still inside the warm house. The kitchen is to the left which has three large windows with access to a pantry and the exterior.

Also on the ground floor there is an en suite bedroom. This bedroom has a large window with views over the garden.

Going up the stairs, we have a further three bedrooms. To the left is the master bedroom that is plenty big enough if you would need another bedroom this could easily be split in two, the room measures 33sqm. The master suit is very spacious and light. There is also an office space which takes up half of the room and a large closet space, via the closet is the access to the en suite. The further two bedrooms are both good sizes and both are en suites.

The property was recently opened on May 2015 to the public as a B&B Country House. It is licensed by Turismo de Portugal and received an “Award Winner 2015 and 2016? from here.

The property is located in a small village in the parish of Assentiz, council of Torres Novas. The towns of Torres Novas and Tomar are both an equal distance away of around 20 minutes.

The historic town of Tomar, which is around 9km away, is home to the UNESCO listed Convento de Cristo. Tomar is a popular and bustling town with a variety of restaurants, cafes, bars, historic monuments, schools, university, bus and train station and hospital.

The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is around one hours’ by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries as well as some direct transatlantic flights to North America.
