The local area also boasts some excellent beaches in the vicinity.Stari Grad ferry port is home to Jadrolinija who offer a comprehensive service to the mainland with up to 6 ferry crossings in the summer months. Nearby town of Jelsa, has a daily catamaran service also run by Jadrolinija to Split via the town of Bol on Brac Island.
