La Sella:
You do not need to play golf to enjoy living at La Sella, over 60% of the people living there do not even play! However, it does help raise the level of the entire area and contributes towards making the area greener and more beautiful. La Sella is more like an exclusive residential area. It distinguishes itself from other "resorts" by removing the encircled "resort- feeling", the area can be considered more like a traditional and well established area of villas, where the "borders" for the resort do exist (in a discrete manner), even though they can't be seen or felt there is 24h security and surveillance on the premises with entry and exit control points to the area. In other words, maximum security without interrupting your privacy. In addition, there is a 5 star Marriott luxury hotel within the resort, where you will have access to spa treatments, restaurants and many other offers.

The golf club house and some luxury apartments (with hotel service) lies in close proximity of this hotel. In and around the La Sella area there is a nature reserve (Montgo), which in turn will ensure that no more houses or apartments will be built in this area. The reserve offers great hiking opportunities, and people travel from remote places just to experience this beautiful location. Inside the resort there is a service centre with a bar ( popular meeting place for many of those who live there), a small supermarket, administration/service office and a good restaurant. At the same location, you can also find a horse riding facility and nine tennis courts. Outside the resort, surrounded by orange trees you will find many good and nice restaurants. One of the region's largest hospitals is placed near by- brand new and opened last year. Very modern with services and offer you may require. It is approx. 2-3km (5-10min) drive down to one of the greatest beaches on the entire coast, and if you decide to drive inland, there is a beautiful mountain area which you can discover by car, bicycle or in other ways- plenty of gorgeous valleys with breathtaking nature. There are also a couple of small and cosy villages up in the valleys. Generally, the entire area is very fertile and green. La Sella is in between 7-8 cities and villages, all within a few kilometres . The closest (1-2km) are Ondara, La Xara and Jesus Pobre- Ondara has a lot to offer, but is best known for its large shopping centre "La Marina", where you can get everything from cars and clothing to TV's and groceries.

Denia and La Sella is situated approximately halfway in between Alicante (city) and Valencia, which both have their own international airport with direct routes to all major European cities- roughly one hour's drive from each city on the AP7 motorway. La Sella lies in the north end of Costa Blanca which characterises by a beautiful, fertile and a diverse nature with rugged terrain and significantly less developments than other places on the Costa Blanca.
