The property is connected to mains water and electricity and is set on a tarmac road taking local traffic and near to the main road which leads from Castanheira da Pêra to the IC8.

The property consists of two buildings which are joined by a centralized stone staircase and have internal connection doors. The property has a footprint of 104 square meters and is set over two floors

The older house is set nearer to the lane and was in former times used as the village pub and grocery store. The roof on this house has only recently been replaced. This house has three rooms with each a door to the lane. These rooms have smooth concrete floors and ceilings and iron window frames. There is also a fourth room, this one with a nice parquete floor.

To the back of the house, there are the stairs and the half open landing which serves as an entrance to the second house. Accessed from this landing, there is a small, simple bathroom.

The second house consists of two parts:

Coming up the stairs, on the landing straight ahead there is the door to the living room, from which there are two bedrooms. There is a connection door to the older house from the living room. The floors in the living room and the bedroom are wood and the ceiling is also wood and needs to be replaced.

The door to the right on the landing gives access to the spacious kitchen, which is simple but serves to make the house habitable.

The ground floor rooms of both houses have high ceilings and have been used as wine cellar and storage rooms.

There is a well and a water tank on the land and plenty of fertile earth for growing vegetables. There are many mature fruit trees on the land, including a large avocado tree next to the house. There is also a fabulous old camellia tree near to the house.

The property is a 15 minute drive from the center of town of Figueiró dos Vinhos and about 8 minutes from the center of Castanheira da Pêra.
