There are often ancient floor tiles.

Regarding the work which will need to be done, it depends on what the future use of this property will be. If a family wants to run it as a Gîtes business, then the main residence needs total renovation and just some updating in the Gîtes. The size of the building would allow it to become as well a Hotel, then it would need a total renovation job.
