Balustrade Estates is a real estate business founded on the principles of integrity and transparency and our aim is to achieve a positive, stress free outcome for all our clients. our area of expertise is the Island of Hvar, where we work closely with each individual listening to their needs, whether it is buying or selling a property, or wanting to engage us in project management. Balustrade Estates consists of a team of three, and is run by Rupert Dawnay and his wife Katia Zaninovic, who both live in Hvar town. Rupert has been involved in the real estate business for many years (over 25 years now!) and started his career in London working for the property company, Hamptons International for over 15years. Katia worked in corporate lettings also in London and was very successful before moving into real estate as well. Marija Barbaric is a local through and through, she ran her own business prior to her full time job, running her family. In more recent times Marija was a very familiar face in the tourist office and five years ago she joined the team at Balustrade Estates.
