Casa Travella
Casa Travella was founded in 1987 by Linda & Pietro Travella. At this time there were very few companies that offered any property for sale in Italy. Linda and Pietro are both bilingual and with their knowledge of Italy and some basic legal training that Linda received, the idea was formed and put into action. Prior to that time buying Italian real estate was a daunting task. Linda's knowledge of the Italian language and people have helped her establish a successful business that has, so far, spanned 25 years and survived two recessions. Linda appeared on ‘A Place in the Sun’ with Amanda Lamb providing information about the Italian housing market and George Clooney’s villa on Lake Como.. Linda spent 4 years as chair of the Federation of Overseas Property Agent and Consultants and was the first woman chair. She was on the International committee of the NAEA and was their media spokeswoman. NAEA International has recently merged with the AIPP and Linda is a board member of AIPP. She has been made an honoured fellow of the NAEA for her continued work in the overseas property business. Linda’s enthusiasm for Italy and property for sale in Italy, is obvious when you speak to her. Linda says: 'I feel proud that we can offer property for sale almost all over Italy and are able to give clients independent advice on areas to suit their budget and needs.'
