"When we found this house the first thing we loved was the location, nestled in the countryside in the hills above Sao Bras - so tranquil and secluded - and yet only a 4 minutes drive from the town Then when we saw the views - surrounded by all the hills with the sea in between we knew we'd found something special. The sunsets here are breathtaking.
The layout of the house was just what we were looking for. Roomy kitchen, dining and lounge, ideal for entertaining. And the advantage of having the self-contained cottage and annex - perfect for family and friends to stay with us - not forgetting the good rental opportunity! The house also has lots and lots of storage, apart from fitted wardrobes we have a roomy attic, large downstairs store pantry laundry room and large brick built storage shed in the garden.
The garden has given us so much pleasure all year round, from the almond blossom in January, orange and lemon blossom in February and March and all the spring flowers popping up everywhere - even growing out of the old stone garden walls. In fact there's a surprise every month of the year - pomegranate, grape vine, and an explosion of colour from the bougainvillea all summer long...."
