The property is located in the Entre Deux Mers wine region and is surrounded by vineyards, great restaurants and auberges that serve locally sourced food and wine. Bordeaux, Sauterne and St Emilion are all within easy reach, as are St Foy la Grande, Libourne, Cadillac and Bergerac (with its international airport).

The Atlantic coast and the famous beach town of Arcachon are a 90min drive. Here you'll find miles of golden sandy beaches and some outstanding seafood restaurants.

There are local produce markets held every day in one of the nearby villages and, in the summer months, night markets with food and entertainment.

There are several golf courses nearby, including the outstanding Chateau des Vigiers.
