Villa Louloudi is a beautiful, traditional home with a unique character. It’s located inside the village of Evangelismos. This two storey stone-built home is 100 years old and was renovated in 2007. It is since then converted into a cozy village home, a great example of simplicity and respect to tradition. The villa

The home contains 145 sqm of living space, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and is located on a plot of 180 sqm.



The ground floor consists of an open plan living room with fireplace and sofa, fully equipped kitchen and 1 bathroom with shower. An internal wooden staircase leads to the upper floor.



The upper floor consists of 3 bedrooms, one of them with sea view, and 1 bathroom with shower. All bedrooms are very bright with 2 windows in each room. One bedroom has direct access to a balcony which is covered with a pergola. The balcony also gets access from the paved yard via an external staircase.

Location

Evangelismos is a quiet and peaceful traditional village which is not touched by tourism. There is one Greek taverna and one café and mini market just a few steps away from the property. The perfect place to feel the relaxation and tranquility that a traditional village offers and enjoy the authentic Greek way of living, far away from the loudness of tourism.



It takes 6 minutes by car to reach the nearest wonderful sandy beach of Mavrovouni.



Finikounda, 9 minutes by car, has four long sandy beaches. The village itself has a very pretty harbour for traditional fishing boats and recreational boats while a smaller village sandy beach is served by traditionally Greek cafes and restaurants.



Methoni, 10 minutes by car, is an old trading port, with Venetian links, evidence of which abounds in its beautiful castle beneath which lie a beach and a sheltered harbour. Methoni has a doctors’ surgery, dentist, pharmacy, good local shopping, supermarkets, bank, post office and very good restaurants.



Pylos, a 20-minute drive away, is a busy small town with port and extensive marina. It has a good range of shops and cafes built around a lovely central square, shaded by ancient plane trees. It also boasts an impressive castle and there are doctors and a small hospital/health centre with good facilities and reliable staff who provide prompt emergency service.



The nearest signature golf course (Navarino Bay) is 25 minutes away while the next golf course (Navarino Dunes) is 35 minutes away.



It takes 55 minutes to drive to the International airport and the hospital of Kalamata which is the administrative capital of the area. Kalamata has a port, large yachting marina and motorway access to Athens. The centre of town has been the subject of major regeneration during the past few years and offers a wide range of shopping, eating and relaxing opportunities along its main boulevard. There is a great variety of (internationally known) shops here as well.
