Complete with fabulous chateau and authentic weekly farmers market in the town square, it may not be a particularly large town but there is an excellent selection of restaurants, cafes and shops as well as all the useful amenities you will need.

If you are a keen walker, there are lots of lovely country-side walks on the randonees and vineyard paths. There is also a choice of golf courses and plenty of opportunity for a spot of fresh water swimming and perhaps fishing in the lakes. This is also a good area for cycling.
