Kamilari is perhaps one of the most friendly villages in South Crete. A better place for a second home seems difficult to imagine, not only in the summer, but also in the very mild winters. Kamilari, with its beautiful alleys full of bougainvilleas that always seem to be in bloom, the small cafes with their tables on the road. Stone houses, residents who take the time for a conversation with the visitors of the village, delicious dishes and excellent wine from the Messara region.



The sandy beaches of Kalamaki at a distance of 2.5 kilometers and the Minoan palace of Phaistos within walking distance. The famous villages of Matala and Agia Galini are practically around the corner. All facilities of the town of Moires are only 6 km away: banks, shops, large supermarkets, a medical center and a huge Saturday market, where producers from the wider region offer their daily fresh products. And all this at an 1 hour drive from the airport of Heraklion.



In this traditional village, a lot is built with local stone. This tradition continues to this day and results in beautiful villas with a traditional look.
