San Valentino is partly inside the Majella National Park and has several tourist entertainments to discover the area. The gastronomy of San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore best represents the regional cuisine of Abruzzo, based on an agricultural and pastoral economy. Known are the "pallotte cacio e uova", cheese and egg balls, and the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine.
