Cartagena is 20 minutes and Murcia City 30 minutes. The town of San Javier is 15 minutes drive and has a range of large supermarkets and the Dos Mares Shopping Mall and adjacent Pinatar Park with lots of fashion outlets, a Carrefour Hypermarket and family friendly restaurants. Just before Cartagena is a large commercial centre Espacio Mediterraneo which is open every day. Alicante airport is a 55 minute drive and Corvera airport 20 minutes.

Just down the road is La Torre Golf Resort which has on site bars and restaurants, a very good Spa supermarket open every day and a 5 star Hotel with pool and Spa facilities . There are numerous other top class golf courses in the area.
