Very well built architect designed house, dating from the 1980s. It has thermal and sound insulation, is completely double glazed, and has central heating. It is on a large plot of land which is lightly wooded behind the house and has a very large garden in front. This land can be built on, if desired. In front of the house is a large terrace, 50m2, overlooking the garden, and with lovely views of the countryside. The house is at the end of a cul de sac and is not overlooked.

In Alès you will find all facilities...hospitals, schools, theatre, cinema, supermarkets..and a lively weekly market, with restaurants and cafés. In summer there is even a "beach" here.
Alès is in the north of the Gard department, and is an easy 30 minutes from Nimes, 20 minutes from Uzès. It is the gateway to the Cévennes region, a beautiful natural national park area, recognised by Unesco, with picturesque villages and stunning scenery. You are also just an hour from Florac, and the Gorges du Tarn. In the other direction, going towards Aubenas and the Ardèche, you will find the famous caves to explore, lots of canoeing and natural swimming in rivers...and very unspoilt countryside.
