This house is to be found in a village between Bagni di Lucca and Barga. It’s part of the commune of Coreglia Antelminelli.

Walking in one will find the stairs in the entrance. They take one up to the first floor where to the right there’s a room with a fire place and adjacent to that, there’s a smaller room. This could become a bedroom en suite. Going straight one has a big bedroom/ living room that will take to the terrace with the gorgeous view, for al fresco dining. From the terrace, one walks into what was used as a kitchen, then a bathroom and a bedroom.

Going back to the stairs, one will find a bedroom on the right side, and on the landing, there’s a door that opens up to the balcony, which is on the street side of the house.

The second floor is like a big attic. Here one could create more bedrooms. Here’s a store room and a room with an antique bread oven.

On the roof a “guaina” has been laid underneath the roof tiles; a membrane that protects from water coming in. The floors are all new.

This house mostly needs cosmetic restoration, and to redo the whole bathroom from scratch, with lots of space for a second bathroom.

In the village one can find one restaurant 200 m from the house and another about 1 kilometre from the house. They are both within walking distance. Near the house there’s a haberdasher’s and about 50 m away, a grocery shop. There’s even a B&B for one’s guests!

It’s close to Bagni di Lucca and Borgo a Mozzano where there are swimming pools for hot summer days. It’s 30 chilometers away from Lucca, 100 from Florence, 40 from Pisa and 50 from the Versilia coast. A few chilometers away up towards higher hills, there’s the canyon called Orrido di Botri, where one can do excursions and maybe see the royal eagle.
